Hoi An to Hue

Weather: clearing, hot and steamy.
Monday October 10th

The rain had stopped for one last walk and some photos through Hoi An.  Here classical music has replaced the Communist propaganda over the loud speakers - good move.  We have really enjoyed it in this beautiful little town with friendly helpful people, and some friendly travelers too.  Chris, an Australian, is making his first overseas trip, a train ride from HCMC to London UK, through China, Tibet, Russian.  Hmmm.  Next trip?

Dogs all over the world have a good morning stretch!

We take the train from Da Nang 3 hours along the coast to Hue.  The clouds were burning off from yesterday's rain.  It was not a speedy trip, but beautiful, except for lots of rubbish on the side of the tracks!

Departing Da Nang.  Get a move on Doug.
